Service Description

This will be an intensive crash course into how to react to various emergencies with a focus on delivering first aid until medical professionals arrive at the scene. Subjects include methods of identifying cardiac arrest, stroke, and shock, how to identify and stop bleeding when it is safe or not to move an injured person, how to talk to 911 operatives and more will be covered. Because the class is much longer than a typical 2-hour first aid course there will be more opportunities to go in-depth into topics such as vascular anatomy and how it relates to stopping blood flow in an emergency, or why it's important to keep someone awake if they have a concussion, and complete practice scenarios.
