Service Description

This class will examine a handful of public art sculptures around the world, their relationships with the environment, purpose, and function. Students will marvel and examine some of the basic engineering feats that allow these structures to stand up and not fall. This class is designed to allow art-minded students to begin working and thinking in 3D while providing them with basic engineering concepts to add to their art background. The class is also intended to engage students who like to tinker and inspire them to put their natural engineering talents to use by creating tangible sculptures and or sculptures that move.
