Service Description

Students learn the fundamentals of journalism from how to take photos at an event to what does it mean to be unbiased? What was the news industry and where is it going? Students will explore all of these concepts through writing weekly articles, in-class discussions, and projects, developing their skills in all facets of both journalism and essay writing. Most texts read for this class will be news articles or pieces (print and digital) from news sources. Students will have the opportunity to include their finished stories in the student magazine “65 Bridge.”
