Service Description

This course seeks to study contemporary world history through the lens of Billy Joels hit song "We Didn't Start The Fire." Students will examine each reference in the song and it's significance within the context of world history. Students will then turn their sights forward to the recent update to the song with lyrics written by the band Fall Out Boy. Students will have the opportunity to debate how well Fall out Boy did encapsulating our current cultural and political climate.
