OUR MISSION

Education for the 21st Century

Mission Statement

To encourage our students to discover and develop what is finest in themselves, to cultivate their love of learning, to empower them to solve complex problems, and to equip them to take their lives in any direction they choose.

Vision Statement

Celebrate the individual, foster the community.

Value Proposition

We handcraft an education for every student who walks through our doors,  providing them with the resources to become confident individuals, independent thinkers, and influential citizens of the world.

OUR CORE VALUES

Individual Student Experience

Each student will have a unique experience at Education without Walls. We provide a structure for their education and within that structure, tailor their courses, schedule, extracurricular activities, college counseling, and more around the needs and interests they express.

Academic Rigor

We require each student to complete a rigorous course of study, with 25.5 credit requirements, designed to prepare them for life beyond high school.  Our teachers inspire a love of learning and maintaining high academic standards, while continually seeking to curate innovative topics and teaching methods.

Emotional Resilience

We are committed to teaching students to be emotionally intelligent and resilient adults. We incorporate life skills and functional psychology classes into our required curriculum and provide a structure for students to practice self-advocacy with their peers and their teachers.

Community Strength

We are committed to a community in which staff, students, and parents are fully engaged, recognizing that this is the most effective way in which to foster a child’s unique strengths, while also helping them to overcome their unique challenges.

Inclusion and Acceptance

We offer an emotionally safe and supportive environment that allows students to be their most authentic selves without fear of judgment. Students are encouraged to take academic risks, allowing them to learn and grow from mistakes they may make along the way.
