
Community Campus Scholarship
Each year we offer one full-tuition scholarship to a New Milford, CT student who reflects the core qualities of an EWOW learner—curiosity, self-direction, resilience, and a desire to engage deeply with learning and community. Students from all educational backgrounds are welcome to apply, including public school, private school, and homeschooled students.
Scholarship Criteria
This is a merit-based scholarship, though not in the traditional sense.
We do not only look at grades, we are looking for students who show:

Curiosity – asks questions, seeks deeper understanding

Engagement – shows interest in the world beyond the classroom

Self-direction – a willingness to take ownership of their learning

Resilience – the ability to navigate challenges and continue forward

Authenticity – a strong sense of self, or a desire to discover it
Academic history may be considered, but is not the primary factor.
Applicants must:

Be a resident of New Milford, CT

Be entering grades 8–12

Demonstrate alignment with EWOW’s mission and values

Maintain good academic standing for the duration of the year.
